On 18 May 2026, the Asian Transition Finance Roundtable was held at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. The invitation-only, closed-door event took place as a partner event of the Ecosperity Week 2026.
The Roundtable was hosted by the China Sustainable Investment Forum (China SIF), and co-hosted by the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC),China Climate Engagement Initiative (CCEI) and SynTao Green Finance. Supporting organizations are GCL and Yinhua Fund.
As climate transition accelerates across Asia, attention is shifting from ambition to action — particularly around credible transition plans, disclosure requirements, and financing mechanisms. The Roundtable brought together a select group of regulators, financial institutions, corporates, and standard-setting bodies for candid peer exchange on two central themes: "Collaboration for Transition", focusing on investor stewardship and corporate engagement practices; and "Transition Pathway Disclosure", examining the latest developments in disclosure frameworks and how companies can communicate their transition plans to financial institutions.
Opening remarks were delivered by Peiyuan Guo, Chairman of China SIF and Chairman of SynTao Green Finance, and Rebecca Mikula-Wright, CEO of AIGCC. The roundtable was conducted under the Chatham House Rule and brought together senior representatives from global asset owners, asset managers, corporates, financial institutions, and international organizations.
